- Host Code is now displayed on the Reservation View page as well as the Reservation Edit page.
- Improved the workflow for adding Travelers to the Res Card. A new "Add Traveler" button on the Res Card Traveler page gives the user two options "To Res Card Only" and "To Res Card and Profile." Traveler Search logic has been improved - it now uses "Starts With," not "Is Equal To," allowing the user to enter a partial name and still find results. When adding to the Res Card only, if matches are found, the user has three options: New Traveler, Add Selected Traveler, and Cancel. If no matches are found, the user has two options, Add Traveler and Cancel. When adding to the Res Card and Profile, if matches are found, the user has three options: New Traveler, Link, and Cancel. If no matches are found, the options are "Add Traveler" and "Cancel".
- Added the ability to select a matching traveler name from the Res Card when using Live Connect and PNR Import. There is a new option under Global Defaults | Res Card Defaults | Default Field Values for Res Cards, Prompt to Match Live Connect/PNR Travelers with Res Card Travelers?" If Prompt is the selected option, when importing a reservation, the user will be presented with the first traveler name from the reservation, along with a list of the Res Card travelers. The user can select one of the existing Res Card travelers to use, or add the traveler from the reservation as a new traveler.
- Added a feature that allows users to view the associated profiles when searching for a traveler to link. In Traveler Search, an Associated Profiles icon has been added for each traveler displayed in search results. When the icon is clicked, a new window opens to display all profiles associated with the traveler.
- Moved the Itemization function to the reservation creation page, in order to make it easier to enter all costs at once. (You can also enter or modify itemized amounts on the reservation edit page.) Also added a link "Clear Itemized amounts/Traveler Pricing" to make it easier to switch to a single total or multiple currencies.
- Added support for multiple currencies, which already existed in ClientBase Windows. Under Tools | Settings | Default Field Values for Res Cards, Foreign Currency in the Res Card can be enabled, the Agency Currency can be set, and foreign currency conversion rates can be established. (Note that agencies syncing with ClientBase Windows must set these values there.)
Once foreign currency conversion rates have been set, they can be used in reservations. Enter the booking amount in the vendor's currency and it will be converted to the agency currency, as well as the client's currency (if different). In this initial version, Res Card amounts will be tracked in the agency's own currency. Invoice amounts will be sent to TBO in the agency currency. (Tracking and invoicing in the foreign currency will be added in a subsequent release.)
Note: Itemization and Traveler level pricing are not available when using the Multi Currency option.
In a Reservation, click the Multi Currency button to select the vendor's currency, agency currency, and (optionally) client's currency and update the conversion rates. Reservation totals will be displayed in agency currency in reservation totals, res card totals, and on the Invoice. The "Clear All Currency" button will reset all foreign currency amounts and rates.
Reservation charges are updated once the reservation is saved.
When Multi-Currency is disabled under Settings, and a Live Connect booking imported contains multiple currencies, the booking amounts are displayed in the Agency currency and cannot be modified. The same is true for bookings created in ClientBase Windows that are tracked in Foreign Currency.
Under Tools | Settings | Branch Settings | Invoice Format Settings, select which currencies will print on the invoice -- Agency, Vendor, and/or Client. (These options are also available via the Invoice Format button when generating an invoice.) All three or any combination of these options may be selected.
When the invoice is generated, it will show the currency amounts for each reservation in the currencies selected. The grey payment box will show totals in the Agency Currency, and totals for the selected currencies will be presented above the grey box. Invoice amounts are sent to Trams Back Office in the Agency Currency.
- To allow agencies to send customer itineraries to itinerary app providers, added a third option to Live Connect at the Res Card level: Send Itinerary. The itinerary provider must be set up as a Live Connect vendor using the category of Miscellaneous. When Send Itinerary is clicked, users can select the reservations on the Res Card that they want to transmit to the vendor. Only Res Card and Reservation data will be transmitted. When an itinerary is sent to one of these providers, a line is added to the Edit History showing the date and a description "Res Card details sent to <Provider>".
- All dates are now imported when reservation is imported through Live Connect. Please note this will work for any new reservations imported through Live Connect and not for any existing reservations imported prior to this change.
- Vendor, Service Provider and Other profiles are now returned via Profiles Query Advanced Search when the View Own Profiles Only option is enabled.
- When Commission GST rate is changed by the user, the Client GST rate is no longer also updated. Similarly, when the Client GST rate is changed by the user, Commission GST rate is no longer also updated. Place of supply rules for GST rates are still in effect when a reservation is created.
- Added support for the new MasterCard card series of numbers beginning with 22 - 27 to properly display them as MasterCard card type (instead of as OT (Other)).
- Changed the slightly confusing wording of message when optional fields are not completed. Instead of always saying "Save Anyway?" it will now read "Click <button name> to continue anyway." The button name could be Next, Save, Link, etc.
- All Name fields have been updated to allow entering up to 50 characters.
- In the side menu on profiles and res cards, improved the appearance of the background color for links that are selected or hovered over.
- In Profile Manager, increased the spacing between profile record action links to make it easier to read and select the desired option.
- Updated button icons, enlarged the clickable target area, and changed button color for improved contrast with background.
- Updated header with modernized icons, improved visibility of selected items, and a look that is more similar to that of other Sabre products.
- Added more white space around table rows and their contents. All tables now have alternating row colors. Lightened the appearance of borders between rows and columns.
- Changed link color to a darker blue for better contrast.
- Changed style of links and their labels so that it is easier to tell a clickable link from its label.
